Techpoint, a leading media platform dedicated to startups, entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology in Africa, has partnered with SiBAN—Nigeria’s Blockchain association—ahead of Techpoint Inspired, the largest tech conference in West Africa.
Techpoint Inspired features three workshops, including a Blockchain workshop targeted at educating participants about blockchain. At the workshop, experts would make various presentations about blockchain, applications of the distributed ledger technology including cryptocurrency, and the future of the technology in Africa.
Following Technpoint’s strategic partnership with SiBAN, officers and members of SiBAN who will be speaking at the Blockchain workshop are the SiBAN Chairman Paul Ezekeude, SiBAN Vice Chairman (Policy & Regulations) Senator Ihenyen, SiBAN Vice Chairman (Blockchain Education & Adoption), and SiBAN member Lucky Uwakwe.
Keynote speakers at Technopoint Inspired include Prof Maziar Nekovee, a Professor of Telecoms and Mobile Technologies and Head of Department of Engineering and Product Design at the University of Sussex; Funke Opeke, founder and CEO of MainOne; Bosun Tijani, founder and Chief Executive of Co-Creation Hub Nigeria (CcHUB); Dr Wiebe Boer, CEO of All On; Seni Sulyman is the Vice President of Global Operations at Andela; amongst others.
Coming up Saturday 1 June 2019 at the Pistis Conference Centre in Lagos, according to Techpoint, “Discussions will be centred around issues like the Future of Work, Artificial Intelligence, blockchain and more new technologies.”
